If you haven't heard about Twitter lately you've been living under a rock. It's basically a free social networking and micro-blogging service, that allows its users to send and read other users' updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.I must say it’s a new nifty tool to the arsenal of the PR person, especially if the media is Twittering. Now that BusinessWeek editors are on it we can easily build relationships by keeping up and interacting with their updates – that’s if you are vying for their attention. It helps with cutting the clutter and allows us to know what they’re interested in, which ultimately helps our job with pitching.
